It has become the trend for both partners to be working in a household these days. What often suffers is the quality time at the dinner table. Having a Personal Chef allows you to sit down, and enjoy a delicious, nutritious meal at your own table prepared with Organic ingredients in the privacy of your own home.

My Meals are all prepared for Seasonal eating and all my Menus will change each Season. All my ingredients are fresh and bought local from Fresh Organic Veggies (locally resourced when available) to Grass Fed and Free Range Meats. All meals are prepared with Organic ingredients.

If you have specific dietary needs or you are looking for something more personalized, PLEASE ask, we can accommodate you. Please let us know if you have any food allergies so we may modify our recipes for you.

My responsibilities include meal planning, shopping for ingredients, cooking, I am responsible for safe packaging, accurate labeling, and convenient storage of prepared items in your refrigerator or freezer. Hope & Health is fully certified in ServSafe Management Food Handling. My preference for storage is to use re-usable glass or corning ware containers to maintain optimum freshness. Please rinse or wash. I will pick up glass storage and their covers when I do your next meal plan.

Eat To Live…Not Live To Eat

From being a Personal Trainer and a Health Coach, I have been faced everyday with Clients who struggle with weight loss.  I began to look deeper with why there was such a struggle.  I enrolled in school at the Institute of Integrative Nutrition (IIN) and started my Journey.  Little did I know that it would open up a whole different can of worms.

A staggering statistic:  62% of the population is currently overweight, and the number is growing. The first step is to learn to eat real food and eliminate processed food.  What is processed food?  Processed food can be breakfast cereals and commercial orange juice also can be considered processed foods. The definition of what constitutes a processed food can vary slightly, but it usually refers to foods that are packaged in boxes, cans or bags. These foods need to be processed extensively to be edible and are not found as is in nature.

If you struggle with weight loss and are eating processed foods like those listed above, this could be the root of your problem.  Processed carbohydrates are the number one culprit for slow metabolism.  Eating small portions of protein several times a day increases metabolism by 30%.

When you fuel your body with foreign invaders, such as processed food (GMO’s), your body doesnt know what to do with it and therefore that is where disease makes a debut.  By fueling the body with what God intended, it knows how to behave and works beautifully.

So there you have it, in a nutshell.  I base my teaching on bio-individuality which means there is a no one-size-fits-all nutritional guideline, each person is a unique individual with highly individualized nutritional requirements. Our passion is to teach you how to change the way you eat, and by eating real food, you will be living.
